- We are celebrating ten participants in our Spring Patient Care Training. We have a mix of current and new personnel investing their time to learn how we love and serve our patients here at CAPS. Join us as we pray for the Lord to equip this class.

Donation Updates
- CAPS is currently only receiving new items for donations & as a reminder that we cannot accept formula.
- When communicating to those who are graciously brining in donations, please communicate with gratitude, that since we have been blessed with an abundance of new donation items, we are helping our sister company, Birthline of San Diego, by refereeing any gently used donations over to them.
- Birthline accepts new and gently used clothing, bottles, formula, opened diaper packages, etc. and can be contacted at (858) 270-2491; more info can be found at https://birthlineofsandiego.org/givehelp-goods/
When someone drops off a donation (baby clothes, bottle of coins, etc.)…
- Ask if they are comfortable giving us their name and mailing address as we would love to send an official “thank you”.
- If yes, find “Donation Receipt” in receptionist forms drawer and ask them to fill it out. Please note that they can make the judgment call on the amount they feel their donation is worth; that is not necessary for CAPS records.
- Ask if they would like a copy for their tax deductions.
- If yes, make a copy of the “Donation Receipt”, hand them one copy and place the other copy on Janelle Moreno’s desk or email a copy to janelle@capsonline.org, if received at a satellite office.
- If they said no, place a sticky note saying “anonymous donation” in donation bag or on coin bottle.
Baby Gift Tubs
Please make sure to use the form in the CA Clinic resource room when you are requesting or setting aside a gift tub for a patient. There is both a “date requested” and a “date the tub was given out” that should be documented so we can accurately log the number of tubs being given out each month.
If you give a tub away at a satellite clinic, please send Janelle the name of the patient (first name & last initial) and the gender of the tub and the date given out. She will add it to the form at the CA Clinic.
For Receptionists
- Please prioritize STI patients on the following shifts: Monday 9-1 DT and Tuesday 5-8pm at Mesa. We are trying to get a couple medical team members fully trained in STI.
- Please remember to use the clickers to count phone calls.
